Dr. Scott Fair, a comprehensive eye care specialist focusing on cataract and refractive surgery, is based in Florida, where he serves patients at Palm Beach Eye Center- Delray Beach. Originally from Detroit, he earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Wayne State University before obtaining his Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Fair further honed his surgical skills and expertise through an internship and residency at Larkin Community Hospital/Nova Southeastern University in South Florida, where he also served as chief resident.
Specializing in refractive surgery, Dr. Fair has extensive experience performing advanced procedures, utilizing the latest techniques to restore vision with precision. Since 2020, he has been a leading cataract surgeon in the Palm Beach area.
Dr. Fair was one of only a handful of lead surgeons handpicked from across the country to be involved in Zeiss’s MiCOR program, where he served as a site investigator from its inception in 2022 until its conclusion in 2024. His commitment to advancing the field is further evidenced by his role as an attending physician for the Larkin Community Hospital Ophthalmology Residency Program, where he has been mentoring residents since 2020. He maintains strong industry relationships and is routinely an early adopter of new technology, citing a strong belief in the benefits it brings to his patients.
Dr. Fair’s training includes a Clinical Neuro-Ophthalmology fellowship from Michigan State University (2015) and a fellowship in Medical Retina from the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute (2019).
