Brad D. Simons, MD, PhD, is a board certified, fellowship-trained Neuro-Ophthalmologist and Pediatric Ophthalmologist. He is delighted to be practicing throughout Palm Beach County, where he is committed to providing high quality care to his patients. He earned his medical degree from Brown University and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology and pediatric ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Simons’ extensive training has made him a leader in his chosen fields. He has over 40 publications in national and international peer-reviewed ophthalmology journals and ophthalmic textbooks, including subjects such as photoscreening for amblyogenic risk factors in children, retinopathy of prematurity, management and surgical management of congenital ptosis and cataracts, and surgical management of cranial nerve palsies. He has also directed national and international clinical trials in ophthalmology.
